The following people were booked Thursday, May 7 into the Highlands County Jail:
Darren David Cheatham, 19, of Sebring, on a charge of felony battery.
Travis Rashaan Holder, 24, of Orlando, was recommitted and sentenced to 179 days in jail or purge for $200 for failing to make a partial payment in reference to driving while license is suspended or revoked, first offense.
Paul Duane Nicholson, 23, of Frostproof, was sentenced to 22 days in jail on an affiant of non-compliance in reference to trespassing and assault on a law enforcement officer.
Clinton Anthony Smith, 37, of 1908 Olive Ave., Sebring, on charges of leaving the scene of a crash involving damage, driving while license is suspended, first offense, and fleeing/eluding police.
