I read where some of your guest columnists give a fair and broad viewpoint about our current administration and some of your guest columnists look on the negative side of things. That of course is called "Freedom of Speech" and that is one of the reasons the U.S.A. is the greatest country in the world.

Maybe, though, we need to look back at some of the investments that have been made by the government in its people using public money, take for example: The G.I. Bill of Rights, what a Godsend it was. It educated so many young Americans who otherwise couldn't have attended college and the results speak for them. It would be impossible to figure an "ROI" (return on investment) on that program.

Today we are investing in ourselves, not randomly spending as some may think. What better way to invest than to invest in the American people and especially its workers. Also we must realize patience is a virtue.
