SEBRING - The Braden River offense exploded for five runs in the second inning and a decisive eight more in the fifth on Friday night to run the Sebring baseball team off Firemen's Field with a 13-3 victory in the finals of the Class 4A-District 10 tournament.
Gus Williams went 2-for-4 with two singles, two stolen bases and one run, while Cody Higgins was 1-for-2 with two runs and Dustin Lang added two singles. But the Pirates pounded 14 hits, including four extra-base hits to run away with the district title.
