LAKE PLACID - The Lake Placid Saturday Morning Market, which was held on the third Saturday in March, will move to the second Saturday beginning in April.
The next market is set for April 11 from 8 a.m. - 1 p.m. at Stuart Park.
More vendors are being sought. Vendor applications are available at the Lake Placid Chamber of Commerce, 18 N. Oak Ave., or on the Web site at www.LakePlacid Florida.com. The deadline is April 3.
Eileen May, the chamber's executive director, said organizers would like to add vendors with organic produce, baskets, orchids and bromeliads.
A flier that the chamber is sending out said that fresh produce, plants, homemade breads, wine, jams, pickles, salsa, pottery, gator meat, fish, ribs, jewelry, candles and funnel cakes will be available.
Bill Jones, who owns Triple J Nursery and was a vendor at the first market on March 21, said there were around 100 people who attended.
"All the vendors said they would come back," Jones said.
"The whole thing was nice," Jones added.
