SFCC Slates Corporate, Continuing Education Spring Workshops

AVON PARK - South Florida Community College's Corporate and Continuing Education department is offering a series of workshops in the spring.

Intro to Adobe CS3 Photoshop will teach students how to use photo correction tools, resize and move images, and enhance documents and images. The workshop meets Fridays, March 27 and April 3, 12:30-4:30 p.m. The cost is $125.

Students will learn the basics of a page layout, master pages, and integration of graphics, objects, and text in Intro to Adobe CS3 InDesign. The workshop meets Fridays, April 10 and April 17, 12:30-4:30 p.m. The cost is $125.

"Glad I Could Help" is a customer service workshop that will focus on the most common internal and external customer service situations, both over the phone and face-to-face. Employees will learn how to respond positively in these difficult customer service situations as well as understand what matters most to customers, what they can do to solve a customer's problem, exhibit a "glad I could help you" attitude when dealing with customers, and make sure the customer is left with a positive, memorable impression. The workshop meets Friday, April 17, 1-5 p.m. The cost is $125.

Introduction to QuickBooks will teach participants how to create a new company profile, work with lists, chart accounts, set up items, and track customers, sales, vendors, expenses, and sales tax. The workshop meets Friday, April 24, 1-5 p.m. The cost is $125.
