The following people were booked Tuesday, March 17 into the Highlands County Jail:
Heather Lynett Barnes, 32, of 1332 Draper Drive, Lake Placid, was recommitted and sentenced to 10 days in jail for driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol (DUI), second offense.
Michelle Elise Briley, 21, of 1469 Gladiola Drive, Avon Park, was recommitted and sentenced to 10 days in jail for DUI, first offense.
Linda Faye Daniels, 41, of 5B East Adams St., Avon Park, on warrants charging failure to appear on charges of issuing/obtaining property with fraudulent check, a warrant charging violation of probation in reference to a worthless check and two writs of bodily attachment charging non-support.
Melvin Daniels, 47, of Sebring, on warrants charging failure to appear on charges of trespassing and aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.
Eric Vanderbilt Honors, 23, of 815 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Sebring, on charges of resisting an officer without violence, battery on an officer and driving while license is suspended, habitual offender.
Gary David Johns, 32, of 1424 Randall Road, Sebring, on a charge of driving while license is suspended, third offense.
Joshua Reese Jones, 33, of 104 Shannon Way, Sebring, was recommitted and sentenced to 30 days in jail for a DUI resulting in property/personal damage.
Dwayne Cavala Murray, 25, of 411 Kent Ave., Lake Placid, was recommitted and sentenced to 30 days in jail for possession of drug paraphernalia.
Robert Lewis Sanxton, 25, of Lakeland, on charges of possession of cocaine, possession of a controlled substance without a prescription and misbranding drugs.
Clifford Max Yeazel, 62, of 401 McCoy Road, Sebring, was recommitted and sentenced to 120 days in jail for DUI, first offense.
The following people were booked Wednesday, March 18 into the Highlands County Jail:
Paula Denise Boyd, 36, of 305 S. Anoka, Avon Park, on charges of possession of a controlled substance without a prescription and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Brad Carnell Bozwell, 28, of Okeechobee, on Okeechobee County warrants charging first-degree murder and armed burglary with assault.
Jerry Stevens Burrer, 36, of Coral Springs, on a charge of possession of a controlled substance without a prescription.
Jerry Marcus Davis, 18, of 7807 Lewis East Drive, Sebring, was committed and sentenced to 30 days in jail for operating a motor vehicle without a valid license.
Stan Duane Hill, 51, of 133 OB Road, Lake Placid, was recommitted and sentenced to 2 years in prison for petty theft, third offense.
Hugo Fernando Lopez, 18, of Clearwater, on charges of possession of marijuana, possession of cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia and Okeechobee County warrants charging armed burglary with assault and first-degree murder.
Charles Jermaine Miller, 25, of Bradenton, on a warrant charging failure to appear on a charge of driving while license is suspended or revoked.
Deborah Kay Peterman, 50, of Okeechobee, was recommitted and sentenced to 28 days in jail for driving while license is suspended, first offense.
Javitz Delaine Roebuck, 32, of 726 River Drive, Sebring, on warrants charging violation of probation in reference to possession of cocaine.
Christopher Leslie Smith, 47, of 990 E. Canfield St., Avon Park, on charges of a controlled substance without a prescription and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Michael Stephen Sramek, 22, of 9150 Morgan Path, Sebring, was sentenced to 30 days in jail for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Benjamin Lee Sweat, 18, of 1250 Citrus Terrace Apartments, Sebring, on warrants charging violation of probation in reference to burglary of a structure and grand theft.
Holly Marie Waters, 22, of 1505 Penny Ave., Sebring, on charges of grand theft of $300 or more, grand theft of $5,000 or more, dealing in stolen property, burglary of an unoccupied structure while unarmed, burglary of an unoccupied dwelling while unarmed and fraud.
Jerry Dan White, 27, of 2427 N. Avon Blvd., Avon Park, was recommitted and sentenced to 20 days in jail for DUI with property damage.
