Gallery Walk In Downtown Sebring SEBRING - The Gallery Walk in downtown Sebring will be held today from 5 - 8 p.m.

In addition to the artists, there will be clowns and live music. Several merchants will have later hours.

Skylarks To Play For Dance Club
SEBRING - The Highlands Social Dance Club hosts ballroom dancing tonight from 7 - 9:30 at the Sebring Lions Club on Sebring Parkway.

Music will be provided by the Skylarks.

There will be free ballroom dance instruction from Walt and Sue available at 6:30 p.m.

All club dances are open to the public. Appropriate dress is required.

Admission is $5 for members and $7 for nonmembers.

Avon Park Relay For Life Finale Set
AVON PARK - The Avon Park Relay for Life event for the American Cancer Society starts March 14 at 1 p.m. and lasts until 7 a.m. March 15 at the Avon Park High School football field.

The 18-hour event celebrates the lives of those who have survived cancer and those who have lost their lives to the disease.

There will be food, games, items for sale and entertainment. At dusk, luminaries will be lit.

Scavenger Hunt To Help Sebring Relay For Life
SEBRING - A scavenger hunt to benefit the Sebring Relay for Life will begin at 11 a.m. March 14 at Walgreens, 3027 U.S. 27 S.

Teams may consist of up to four people, with one person at least 18 or older. The cost is $5 per person.

Each team will need a car and a digital camera. Teams will be given a list of items to collect or take pictures of. Each item will have a point value. The team with the most points to return to Walgreens within three hours will win $100.

Movie To Be Shown Outside
SEBRING - "Movies By Moonlight" will continue March 14 in the back yard of the Highlands Art League's Yellow House, which is next to the Sebring Public Library.

A G-rated film will be shown at 7:30 p.m. There is no admission charge.

Fashion Show At AP Community Center
AVON PARK - The third annual Multi-Cultural Hair/Fashion/Nail Show and Gospel Fest will be held at 5:30 p.m. March 14.

Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the door

The show will be held at the Avon Park Community Center, 310 W. Main St.

Car Auction To Feature Classic Cars

LAKELAND - The public is invited to attend an auction March 14 that will include classic and muscle cars.

It will be at 3300 County Line Road in Lakeland.

Cars can be previewed from 8 - 10:30 a.m. The auction begins at 11.

Admission is $10 per person.

County's Three Libraries To Show Movies
SEBRING - Free movies will be shown at the Avon Park, Lake Placid and Sebring libraries on March 14. All three will begin at 2 p.m.

The lineup includes: "When Harry Met Sally" at Avon Park, "WALL-E" at Lake Placid and "Fireproof" at Sebring.

SEBRING - Ride the Racetrack will be held 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. March 15 at Sebring International Raceway.

Concert Series Concludes At Bok Tower

LAKE WALES - Bok Tower Gardens' Music at Pinewood concert series will conclude March 15 at 4:30 p.m. with a performance by pianists Dr. Joseph and Renata Schwartz.

A reception with refreshments to meet the artists will follow the concert. Tickets are $25 or $20 for members.

Drum Circle Planned At Highlands Hammock
SEBRING - Primal Connection will be hosting a drum circle from 3 - 5 p.m. March 15 at Highlands Hammock State Park.

Bring a chair or a blanket, an instrument if you have one, a snack and a drink. The event is for all ages

The normal park entrance fee of $4 per vehicle applies.

Primal Connection members enter free by showing their card or by wearing their Primal Connection T-shirt.

Lake Placid China Painters Tea Set

LAKE PLACID - The annual Lake Placid China Painters Tea is set on Sunday, March 15 from 1-4 p.m. at the Caladium Co-op in Lake Placid.

The club will have hand painted treasures for show and for sale.

There will be demonstrations, food and beverages, entertainment, raffles and door prizes.

There is no admission charge and all are invited to attend.
