Well folks, if you were non-believers before March 7, surely you have been converted. I'm referring to the front page of this paper on the above mentioned date. The headline? "Operation Hot Milk."
It reported illegals stealing canned baby formula from merchants here in Florida and sending it out of the state for resale. This little operation was costing the merchants here in this state some $2,500 per year.
As reported, there were 21 illegals involved in this ring of thieves. They were all in the U.S. illegally and that only speaks for the state of Florida. Highlands County was one of their venues for accumulating and reorganizing their stash. They were, as reported, paid $100 to $300 per day for their thefts. If we think this is limited to Florida perhaps we need to rethink our thinking.
I hate to keep hounding on this illegal issue, but Congress needs to send these people back to their native countries now, not later! They are eroding our standard of living daily, not just through this type of operation, but their taking from our Social Security and our medical facilities. These are costing us many billions of dollars.
My guess is that this is just the tip of the iceberg. Stay tuned and you'll surely hear more of the same in this regard.
