Why is it that on U.S. 27 vehicles going 70-85 miles per hour with the county sheriff doing the same speed in to Lake Placid? The police are going 65-75 miles per hour when it should be 50 or 55, even when they don't have their lights on.
Just the other day, a police car was doing about 85 miles per hour when it should have been going 65 miles per hour, going south. On Sebring Parkway people do 60-65 miles per hour and it is only 45. Also when they get to the last light, some people just doesn't know how to use their turn signals when turning onto U.S. 27. Then when they go through a green light going north, they go through at 70 miles per hour.
It is because of this that so many people are getting killed on U.S. 27.
