I am writing about the person who dropped off their family pet on the side of the road for whatever reason. It's been over a week now and he is still waiting for you to come back and pick him up. He is so scared, not knowing what is going on and why you left him out there. He is petrified of anyone, standing there shaking with his tail between his legs. Several people have tried to help; Animal Control has been out several times, they even put food out, but he won't come close.
I'm sure that you don't care that he is starving to death and will probably be dead by the time you read this. Why couldn't you have dropped him off at the Humane Society or Animal Control? At least he would have shelter and food and water. He doesn't deserve to be treated like this.
He is obviously a house pet. He hasn't moved from the spot where you left him; he is getting really thin and weak now, so it probably won't be much longer that he will be suffering. I hope that you see this and know that someday you will have to answer for your actions. I realize that times are tough and it is hard to feed a family, let alone a family pet, but that is no excuse to drop him off like a bag of trash. Please don't get another dog when times get better, you surely don't deserve one.
