SEBRING - The city of Sebring will have half of the Veterans Beach boat ramp closed from 8 a.m. Monday, June 15 until about July 1 for repairs, said Rob Miller, director of public works.
"We're going to rip out a good chunk of it and replace the concrete," said Miller.
The boat ramp has two sides but one side will be worked on at a time.
"We'll be closing one half at a time so one half will be open at all times," he said Thursday. "We just ask people to be patient and understanding."
The ramp is comprised of individual panels that have settled and are coming apart, he said.
"I plan to have it all opened back up by July 1," he said.
Anyone with questions is asked to call Sebring Public Works at 863-471-5115.
