TJ and the Cruisers to play at bowling center

LAKE PLACID - TJ and the Cruisers will be performing at the Thirsty Camel in the Royal Palms Bowling Center tonight from 8 to midnight.

Royal Palms is located at 800 U.S. 27 S. in Lake Placid.

'Shakespeare in Hollywood' continues at HLT

SEBRING - "Shakespeare in Hollywood" will continue this weekend at Highlands Little Theatre, 356 W. Center Ave., in Sebring.

There will be performances today and June 13 at 8 p.m. A matinee show is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. June 14.

LP Saturday Morning Market slated

LAKE PLACID - The Lake Placid Saturday Morning Market will be held from 8 a.m. - 1 p.m. June 13 at Stuart Park on Interlake Boulevard in Lake Placid.

There will be fresh produce, plants, food, pottery and jewelry available.

More produce/flower vendors are being sought for the market.

Free movies at libraries

SEBRING - Free movies are scheduled at the libraries in Avon Park, Lake Placid and Sebring on June 13. They will begin at 2 p.m.

"Big" will be shown at Avon Park, 100 N. Museum Ave., while "Beverly Hills Chihuahua" is the offering at Lake Placid, 205 W. Interlake Blvd. Those in Sebring can see "Curious George" at 319 W. Center Ave.

Musical show set at Tanglewood

SEBRING - The Ditchfield Family will perform at 7 p.m. June 13 at Tanglewood, which is located one-half mile north of the Sebring Wal-Mart on U.S. 27.

Some of the family members are part of a quartet called My Three Sons.

Tickets are $10.

Doors open at 6 p.m.
