How can you make a statement, "Don't do as I do, but do as I say?" President Obama cost the state of Nevada hundreds of millions of dollars.
Suggesting that corporations do not hold meetings at Las Vegas, he has the gall to have a night out in New York City (what's wrong with D.C.?) using Air Force One, blocking off the entire block for security around the theater and delaying the program by 45 minutes. I wonder what this folly really cost.
The inconvenience to the taxpayer and cost apparently is a non-issue with the president. There are 6 million taxpayers unemployed and God knows how many retirees with fixed incomes struggling in these economic times. It's time to stop blaming President Bush and look at the shortcomings of Frank, Dodd, Pelosi, etc. The list goes on. Now GM is in bankrupt. When will it stop?
