This president was given more on his plate than any president in our history. Yet there are those of us who expect results but expect them now. The fact is we are in a very serious debt and Obama has driven those dollars even higher. The realistic thing in my opinion is we should be seeing real results by December 2009 or January 2010.

So suck it up and breathe deeply. If we don't, we are in a very deep pit and will never dig our way out of it; not without help and lots of it. Friends; oh yes; enemies, no.

All this president's travel abroad is a necessity and I trust that is his reasoning for it. Is he enamored with himself? I hope not. If he is, pray for us. Optimism is the name of the game.
