Well, we have yet another government entity crying for a tax increase. Now it is the school system.
No doubt, they will parade scare stories about the horrors of portable classrooms and program cuts to justify getting a tax increase.
Everyone in the county is dealing with rising costs and reduced income due to the economy.
The county homeowners have to tighten their belts and deal with it. The school board needs to do the same. Voters will be watching.
