Trillions for Bumblers

I am convinced the U.S. Congress is populated with too many bumblers whose only talent is spending our country to oblivion, "bringing home the bacon" so to speak, and getting re-elected.
Our current dire situation is directly attributable to these bumblers for legislating easy money policies and access to mortgages and loans for people unqualified to obtain them without government guarantees.
Now these bumblers propose more of the same while adding trillions of dollars to the national debt which is already unsustainable and knowing full well it will never be repaid. Is this a recipe for disaster or what?
