SEBRING - A local man was found guilty this week by a Highlands County jury on two counts of sexual battery on a person less than 12 years of age.

Towe was found guilty in reference to an incident that happened between Nov. 1 and Nov. 21, 2007, where he did, "unlawfully commit sexual battery upon, or injure the sexual organs during an attempt to commit sexual battery upon a person less than 12 years of age," court documents stated.
