Garbage Pickup and Closures on Jan. 19

SEBRING - Garbage collections and closures on Monday, Jan. 19, Martin Luther King Day are as follows:
There will be no garbage pickup in Avon Park on Monday. Monday's pickup will move to Tuesday, Tuesday's pickup will move to Wednesday, Thursday and Friday will remain the same.
There will be no residential garbage pickup in Lake Placid on Monday. Monday's pickup will move to Tuesday, the rest of the week will remain the same.
There will be normal garbage pick-up in Highlands County and the City of Sebring on Monday.
Lake Placid offices will be closed on Monday and will re-open on Tuesday, as will Avon Park City Hall, Sebring offices and Highlands County Courthouse. Schools and banks will be closed on Monday, with normal hours resuming on Tuesday. Post offices will be closed and there will be no mail delivery on Monday.
