The following people were booked Friday, Jan. 9 through Sunday, Jan. 11 into the Highlands County Jail:
Laureano Diaz, 74, of Sebring, on a charge of battery of a person 65 years of age or older.
Ashley Nicole Gross, 26, of Wauchula, on warrants charging possession of drug paraphernalia, selling methamphetamine and possession of methamphetamine with the intent to sell.
Jason Lee Guzik, 34, of Sebring, on charges of battery and obstructing justice.
John Anthony Hernandez, 29, of 1209 South Canal Blvd., Sebring, on warrants charging vehicular grand theft, dealing in stolen property, uttering a forgery, grand theft of $100,000 or more and scheme to defraud.
Arthur Pell Irving, 53, of 2305 Sagecrest Drive, Sebring, on two Polk County warrants charging violation of probation in reference to grand theft and uttering a forged instrument.
Albert Carl Jenkins, 28, of Dundee, on a warrant charging violation of probation in reference to driving with a suspended or revoked license, second offense.
Cory Ray Jenkins, 19, of Okeechobee, on warrants charging violation of probation in reference to burglary of an occupied structure/conveyance and grand theft over $300.
Michael Joe Lopez, 35, of Lorida, on a charge of felony battery.
Gloria Beatrice Rojas, 23, of Hollywood, on a charge of driving while license is suspended, habitual offender.
Joseph Anthony Schaller, 27, of 413 Nastertium Ave., Sebring, was sentenced to 20 days in jail for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, first offense.
