SEBRING - Overcoming rain and high winds, Wake Forest senior Nanette Hill shot a 2-under-par 70 on Wednesday to take the first round lead of the 54th annual Harder Hall Women's Invitational Golf Tournament at Harder Hall Country Club. Wendi Golden, 15-year-old Jessica Korda, Amelia Lewis and Candace Schepperle are one stroke back at 1-under 71.
Christy Carter, Cindy LaCrosse and Whitney Neuhauser are at 72 and Daniela Lendl shot a 1-over 73. The 72 hole, stroke-play tournament continues through Saturday with tee times beginning at 8 a.m.
