The following people were booked Wednesday, Feb. 25 into the Highlands County Jail:

Tracee Ann Brown, 18, of 3320 Howard Ave., Sebring, on charges of possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, producing methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Fernando Chaidez, 29, of Fort Meade, on charges of possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, producing methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Jose Leon Moreno, 38, of Zolfo Springs, was recommitted and sentenced to 20 days in jail for knowingly driving while license is suspended or revoked.

Joseph Edward Nicklaus, 24, of 120 Jasmine Ave., Lake Placid, on charges of possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, producing methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Deborah Kay Peterman, 50, of Okeechobee, was recommitted and sentenced to 30 days of knowingly driving while license is suspended or revoked.

Marcus Latroy Rockmore, 32, of 1005 Lemon St., Sebring, on charges of possession of cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Akua Travon Samuels, 21, of 117 Vision St., Lake Placid, on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and obstructing justice.

Heather Luanne Stone, 38, of Lakeland, on a charge of violation of probation in reference to possession of cocaine.

Benjamin Lee Sweat, 18, of 1250 Citrus Terrace Apartments, Sebring, on a charge of burglary of an unoccupied conveyance while unarmed.

Edwin Paul Townsend, 31, of 2901 N. Townsend Road, Avon Park, on charges of possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, producing methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
