The following people were booked Monday, Feb. 23 into the Highlands County Jail:

Tracy Joy Carol Bryant, 21, of 136 Cody Way, Sebring, was sentenced to four days in jail on an affiant of non-compliance for failure to appear in reference to knowingly driving while license is suspended or revoked.

Nicholas Joy Grinage, 35, of 2300 Andalusia St., Sebring, on an Orange County warrant charging violation of probation in reference to possession of a controlled substance.

Richard Joe Kelting, 36, of Okeechobee, on charges of burglary with assault or battery, interfering with the custody of a minor and abuse of an elderly or disabled adult.

Jennifer Lea Purser, 36, of Wauchula, was recommitted and sentenced to 18 months in jail for possession of methamphetamine.

Tommy Lee Richardson, 51, of 108 N. Prospect, Avon Park, on a failure to appear warrant issued by the U.S. Marshal Service on a charge of possession of cocaine.

James Alexander Trice, 21, of 702 Aston Martin Drive, Sebring, on a warrant charging violation of probation in reference to possession of marijuana and a charge of giving a false ID to a law enforcement officer.
