5 Apply For AP Middle Principalship

SEBRING - With Avon Park Middle School Principal Dan Johnson retiring at the end of the school year, five education administrators in Highlands County have applied to succeed him.
The applicants are:
• Katina Kramer - Director of Secondary Programs
• Seth Lambert - Avon Park High Assistant Principal
• Doug Thouburn - Coordinator of Career and Technical Education
• Tealy Williams - Sebring High Assistant Principal
• Debbie Wood - Sebring High Assistant Principal
The candidates will be interviewed Feb. 26.
Superintendent Wally Cox will make a recommendation to fill the position, which is subject to approval by the school board.
