According to the article "Carbon Emissions Growing Faster" in last Sunday's Tampa Tribune, Co2 emissions have been growing at 3.5 percent per year since 2000. At this rate, the increase will reach a total of 41 percent by the year's end.
Since Al Gore and his so called scientists and researchers have already conclusively linked increases in Co2 emissions with that of increases in global warming, wouldn't one have expected a rather dramatic or possible even a catastrophic increase in the earth's temperature during this period? Not so, for as studies have shown and we all we know, absolutely no warming has taken place since! It's time to finally lay Gore's theory to rest.
But what is behind the continued attempt to deceive us with such articles? Could it be simply a case of trying to gain power or wealth, or the possible creation of a new world order?
Unless we wake up as a nation and start using our own common sense (since our politicians and media don't seem to have any) we're going to have to pay the consequences of any political action resulting from such a flawed theory. Watch for the Congress to attempt to quickly pass the Cap-tax legislation, which will tax American industries at an amount pro-rated to the level of their Co2 emissions; a law that would do nothing to affect global warming but would definitely make our companies less competitive in the world markets.
Fear has led us to make some irrational financial decisions in the past few weeks and sadly, I believe that this concocted fear, based upon man made global warming may well do the same in this upcoming legislation.
