There have been several articles in the Highlands Today regarding subject matter on the Spring Lake Golf Course. The last one of Feb. 3 was the best article written to date.

Now, let me refresh your memory, going back to two lines concerning the golf course, which states "Option one is to sell $6.2 million in 30-year bonds to build new acres. Also, each Spring Lake lot owner would be assessed an extra $168 annually for 30 years; how about that!

I suggest that the big boys, who sound like Wall Street, move to West Palm Beach. I've lived in Spring Lake much longer than the "Breezy" newspaper (Spring Lake's newsletter) coming from Fort Myers. I don't like it sent to me stating "occupant." As the saying goes "Wake up and smell the roses Spring Lake neighbors."
