Why did you start the business?

With years of experience in the restaurant business and moving to the Placid Lakes area this past year, we saw a need for a "local" restaurant to serve the residents in this area without having to travel to town.

Is there anything unique about your business that makes it different from the competition?

We tried to create an eclectic feel to the restaurant and menu with both a fresh look, unique menu items and emphasis on the freshest products we can obtain. No Frills Grill has a casual atmosphere with both indoor and outdoor seating to accommodate our guests.

What challenges do you face in business?

Certainly the economy is a major factor. That coupled with the fact that we are "off the beaten track" and not located on the highway or downtown offers a constant challenge. But, like roadhouses of earlier time - if the food, ambience and service is good, they will come.

What do you like about your business?

We love the daily contact with our customers. Being part of the business community in which we live and getting to know our Placid Lakes neighbors, visitors and families and serving them a great meal makes it all worthwhile.
