Van Driver Cited For Careless Driving

SEBRING - The driver of a van who crashed into a garage Tuesday at the corner of Sebring Parkway and Home Avenue was cited for careless driving by the Sebring Police Department.
Sebring Police Commander Steve Carr said the citation for driver Kimberly Doty referenced swerving in and out of traffic and traveling at speeds of around 70 mph. No one was hurt in the crash.
A passenger inside the van with Doty previously said the accident was caused after the vehicle's left front tire blew.
"It was unbelievable how fast she went past us," witness Mika Brown said. "She was like cutting these cars (off) like you would not believe."
Brown was happy the crash ended without any injuries.
"There could have been kids standing on that corner," she said.
