HARDEE ELIMINATES AP FOR SECOND STRAIGHT YEAR

ARCADIA - Postene Louisjeune scored 15 points, including four free throws in the final seconds to lift No. 7 seed Hardee to a 66-60 upset win over No. 2 seed Avon Park in the quarterfinals of the Class 4A-District 10 tournament at DeSoto High School on Monday.
This was the second straight year that Hardee has eliminated AP from the district tournament in the first round.
The 'Cats built a nine-point lead with three minutes left in the fourth before the Devils mounted a supherb comeback as T.K. Miller and Avierre Conner accounted for eight points during a 10-0 run, but Hardee hit their free throws down the stretch to ice the game.
Avon Park was paced by Conner with 14 points, Miller and Alonzo Robertson with 13 points and center Cleveland Nobles chipped in with 12 points in the loss.
