The following people were booked Monday, Feb. 2 through Tuesday, Feb. 3 into the Highlands County Jail:

Brittany Kae Bowman, 19, of 2607 Pompino Drive, Sebring, was sentenced to 30 days in jail for possession of cocaine, possession of a controlled substance without a prescription and possession of marijuana.

Charles Paul Card, 49, of Franklin, Pa., was sentenced to 30 days in jail for violation of probation in reference to possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Pauline Ann Heminger, 36, of 143 Alderman, Lake Placid, was sentenced to 12 days in jail for failure to appear in reference to driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs (DUI) and was arrested on a warrant charging violation of probation in reference to DUI.

Cale Monroe McKinney, 28, of 1801 Kent Drive, Sebring, on a charge of burglary of an unoccupied structure while unarmed.

Michael Cory Mings, 28, of 1817 Vanhorn Ave., Lorida, was sentenced to two days in jail for failure to appear in reference to knowingly driving while license is suspended or revoked.

Joan Ortiz, 37, of Frostproof, was sentenced to 60 days in jail for knowingly driving while license is suspended or revoked, second offense.

Michael Lamar Small, 26, of 171 E. Rainbow Drive, Avon Park, was sentenced to 10 months in jail for selling marijuana within 1,000 feet of a church.

Brian Keith Underwood, 30, of 1626 Cedarbrook St., Lake Placid, was sentenced to 150 days in jail for battery and 90 days for driving while license is suspended or revoked, second offense.

Stanley Fredrick Yates, 31, on a warrant charging violation of probation in reference to lewd and lascivious battery and a writ of bodily attachment charging non-support of children or spouse.

Christopher Earl Hoover, 28, of Okeechobee, on warrants charging failure to appear in reference to charges of possession of burglary tools and grand theft of a motor vehicle.

William Scott Whitaker, 45, of 1601 Bermuda Ave., Sebring, on a warrant charging violation of probation in reference to two counts of cashing/depositing an item with the intent to defraud.

Carl John Zobel, 21, of 1610 N. Palm Drive, Avon Park, on a warrant charging violation of probation in reference to possession of cocaine.
