Debra Saunders had an opinion in Highlands Today on Jan. 30, about the use of medical marijuana, but took it to a higher level. I have in my opinion not seen an article worthy of print from Saunders to date! She did, however, get one comment right, (some doctors) give "THC" properties.
Question for Saunders, have you personally witnessed use of this drug in a 12-month period, not one or two but thousands of young men and women. Have you noted the accidents, deaths and suicide when on steady use of this drug? Have you ever witnessed below average work performance, higher risk for accident for self and others?
It should also be noted that when employers apply for all types of insurance, they are assessed a fee based on several things: accident rate, cause of accident, etc. If an employer can prove that they are drug free, they receive a better rate. THC use affects many of us, not just the user. It is my opinion that Saunders should take up badmitten, she already does bad press!
