This is an open letter sent to Mr. Jim Thompson, president of State Farm Florida.
Concerning your letter to Florida State Farm customers reminding us that you're there for us for our other insurance needs, when you cancel our home insurance, forget it, Jim! If your company can't take care of me after 42 years of loyalty to you, I don't need you!
Hopefully, the 1 million-plus homeowners in Florida will do the same and shut you down.
Don't bother blowing smoke to the media or put on the poor mouth. Your company is one of the highest priced for home insurance in the state, and you are crying the blues because your company didn't get a 47 percent increase.
Fool me once, shame on me; fool me twice, shame on you. Your parent company isn't going to be happy with the millions they are going to lose in lost revenue. Good luck in your next job.
