On Sunday I watched a program on ABC News about health care reform.
I heard the word "empowerment" used a few times. This word peaked my attention.
I am now retired, but when I did work, I heard this word used on several occasions and learned that it was a word I did not like.
Every time I heard it, it meant that I would receive more responsibility for the same or less pay.
It also was used in relation to losing benefits or paying more for them or both.
When you hear someone from the government use the word "empowerment," run as fast as you can.
They either want to tax you more or take something away from you or both.
