The following people were booked Monday, Aug. 10 into the Highlands County Jail:
Otis Lee Downs, 39, of 714 E.O. Douglas St., Sebring, on charges of fraudulently uttering a false instrument and petty theft.
Keith Michael Goodwin, 21, of 4611 Minerva St., Sebring, on charges of possession of marijuana and destroying evidence.
Jason Jamal Houston, 27, of 406 E. Malcolm St., Avon Park, on charges of driving while license is suspended, habitual offender, and giving a false ID to a law enforcement officer.
Lawrence Douglas Ijames, 49, of Sebring, on charges of obstructing justice and battery.
