Team Florida falls to Mississippi 11-10 in Dixie AAA World Series

LAUREL, MISS. - Team Florida rallied from a 10-0 deficit, but it wasn't enough as Mississippi scored two runs in the last inning for a 11-10 win in the Dixie AAA (ages 9-10) World Series on Tuesday nght in Laurel, Miss. Team Florida's Jimmy Peck had a home run and three RBI and Kyle Helms knocked in three runs to tie the game at 10 in the top of the sixth inning. But Mississippi plated two runs in the bottom of the inning to secure the win. Team Florida will play an elimination game on Wednesday night.
