My wife and I recently flew to Panama City for a family reunion-birthday party. The flight out of Orlando went to Atlanta, then Panama City and the same was so on the return flight.
On the return trip we arrived in Atlanta with about a 45-minute layover. Our gates were close so we decided to grab a snack and eat at the gate before boarding. When we got to the gate and sat down, a young serviceman leaned over and said: "Sir, if you are going to Orlando your plane is already boarding and you don't want to wait on the next flight." I thanked him and asked how long of a delay did he have, "No sir we are all going to Kuwait."
I started toward the gate and turned around to notice about 50 servicemen and women waiting. I then went back and shook the young man's hand and thanked him and all of them. We often forget the men and women all over the world who risk their lives every day to protect us and keep us safe from people, who without hesitation or regret would do all of us harm. Thanks again.
