Sebring - There will be a hero's dinner in appreciation of all staff involved in the recent lockdown during a white powder scare last week at the Florida Hospital Heartland Division.
"I don't want to give anything away yet but it'll be a special evening," said Cathy Albritton, marketing director.
Albritton promised "surprises" for the 98 staff members and their families who have been invited to the dinner. Staff was unable to leave the hospital for about 16 hours during the lockdown.
The dinner will be held on Thursday evening in the cafeteria.
