SEBRING - Cheyenne Pagan is only 8 months old, but soon she will be able to put a television commercial on her job resume.
The camera-friendly little one is slated to appear in a commercial for Act Now Talent to be shown in Pinellas County on MTV and Nickelodeon. The talent agency is located in Seminole.
Jayne Riles is learning how to "market" her daughter and build her image for modeling and acting opportunities.
Cheyenne will pose Monday for professional "head shot" photos.
"It would be great if she would be in a movie or an actual television show or different print work like brochures," Riles said.
Though Riles has aspirations for her daughter she said, "she's a regular kid. I love this career with her, but I want her to have a regular kid's life. I don't want her to grow up being spoiled."
There are many steps to success, but Riles won't go beyond her beliefs to further her daughter's career.
"I set my limit at certain points," she said.
Responding to a suggestion to apply makeup on Cheyenne, Riles firmly said "no."
The broadcast commercial appearance opportunity came as a result of an audition at the talent agency.
Riles took a number of photographs of her daughter and they went to a casting call last month.
"They looked at her and they said 'she is cute,'" Riles said.
The 2004 movie The Punisher, which was filmed in Tampa, used 40 extras who were hired through Act Now Talent.
The agency's talent can be seen on Orlando billboards and brochures for amusement parks and on the Home Shopping Network.
The commercial, featuring Cheyenne, will be shot Nov. 24 in the Act Now Talent studios, an agency representative said Thursday.
