LP School Lands Grant For Art Reproductions

LAKE PLACID - Lake Placid Middle School media specialist Nancye Starkey received a grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities that will make it possible for teachers and students to have access to 40 high-quality modern American art reproductions.
As a recipient of the grant "Picturing America," staff will have an opportunity to enhance learning in both their classrooms and the media center.
The subjects that will be getting use of the grant are: American history, social studies, writing, and literature.
