Bank of America CEO Ken Lewis was paraphrased, not quoted directly, in Thursday's story, "Is Our Money Safe."

Lewis's quote on the merger of Bank of America and Merrill Lynch: "... they have created the best wealth management company in the world, and we acknowledge that; then finally, that we will keep the name and keep their organization intact."

Also, Bear Stearns was purchased by Morgan Chase, not Morgan Stanley.
