SEBRING - The Sebring Police Department has detained a man in connection with a robbery this morning at Cindy's Hallmark, located at 710 Sebring Square, police said.
A male allegedly came into the store where a female clerk was working by herself, police said. He demanded money, was given an undisclosed amount, and later tied up the clerk and made her lay on the floor, police added.
He left through the back door of the store, where witnesses reportedly saw him leave, police said.
A man with a matching description was seen riding a bicycle on Lakeview Drive and was detained, police said.
Two of the witnesses reportedly have identified the man. He has not been arrested or charged yet.
The police department received the call at about 10:12 a.m.
