The letter to the editor by Joan Morrone with a caption "Picking Palin" reflects a lack of knowledge that life beings at conception. To ignore this medical and moral truth is to draw incorrect conclusions related to contraceptives and condoms.
There is no wall between church and state and there should not be one. "Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar's and to God the things that are God's." The sanctity of human life is a given. To ignore it is to violate life. This is the issue; it cannot be ignored. Palin upholds the sanctity of human life and that will attract voters who defend human life from conception. Good for her!
