Presidents Don't Make Laws

For those who continue to believe the rhetoric from the presidential candidates stating what "I'm going to do when I am elected president," really show their ignorance to the fact that the president does not make laws. He may suggest to Congress, who make the laws, his request. If and when the Congress presents a bill to the president, along with all the added pork, he may sign it or not.

As the Commander in Chief of the American armed forces, he cannot even pay them unless the Congress says it's okay. It is sad to see how many people who vote, think the person they have been listening to is promising them a new way of life, will find that the Garden of Eden is not in his control. Beware of the gifted tongue as it may not be as it seems
