LAKELAND - Priscilla Adams and Camiel White each broke 50 for nine holes, but it wasn't enough on Tuesday as undefeated George Jenkins knocked off Sebring in a girls golf match at Cleveland Heights golf course.
Adams led the Streaks with a 43, followed by White's 48. Lindsey Lovett added a 53, while Kelsie Allen rounded out the scoring with a 58.
Jenkins scored 191 to Sebring's 202.
"We improved three strokes over last week on the same course," said Sebring coach Jeff Hendges. "The younger girls, especially, really improved over their first match. They played with a lot of poise and within themselves."
The Streaks head to Bartow today for a tri-match against the Yellow Jackets and George Jenkins.
