FORT MEYERS - Bishop Verot's Jesse Kane scored three special teams touchdowns -- including an 85-yard TD return on the opening kick -- to lead Bishop Verot (6-2) to a 27-16 Class 2A-District 5 victory over Lake Placid (1-6) at Viking Field.

Kane added a kickoff return for 87 yards and a punt return for 42 yards for touchdowns, while Lake Placid's Navarhi Holden had two rushing scores to lead the Green Dragons.
