After reading all the horror stories of having to wait for hours to vote, I decided to tell my story.
A friend and I picked up two elderly women (one 96 years old and the other 91- years old) at their homes and went to vote at the Government Center. When we got to the door we were handed a number and told to go sit down until the number was called. They called approximately 10 or so at a time. We were called and voted. This was on the first day, which I believe was Oct. 20.
After all four of us voted, we went outside and waited while our driver went to pull the car around to pick us up at the door. Much to our surprise, a gentleman came and offered us a chair. Talk about good treatment from the people in charge.
No, I don't live very far away but can you believe that this took less than one hour? Please get out and vote as they sure make it easy.
