I intend to vote for Barack Obama because I believe he will do what is best for America. I think he cares about our veterans and will do more to see that they get the care they need, and also that he will end this war for oil in Iraq and send more troops to Afghanistan to finally catch bin Laden.
I think he is the best man for the job, his strength and vitality are essential, and I believe he has the intelligence needed to fix some of the enormous problems caused by the Bush-Cheney administration. John McCain is just more of the same, and we definitely need change, now more than ever. McCain's choice for vice president shows he has no clue how serious this job is.
I don't think voting for someone just because you like their folksy way of talking, or their eyeglass frames, or their good looks is a good reason to elect them to the highest office in America, nor is voting for someone because they were a POW 40 years ago a good enough reason. And to not vote for someone just because you don't like his name, or his father's country of origin is not a good reason either.
Barack Obama is the right man for the job, and this time we must make sure the right man gets elected. If Al Gore had been in the White House, as he was meant to be, we would not be in this terrible situation now.
Listen with your ears America, and listen to your heart when voting this November, and elect Obama. God bless America.
