AVON PARK - Talk about going low.
The team of Ryan Chapman, DJ Smiley, Justin Eddy and Drew Chapman finished first in the Net Flight with a 47 during Saturday's inaugural Travis O'Bannon Memorial golf tournament at Highlands Ridge North.
Coming in second in the Net Flight with a score of 52 was the foursome of Aaron Lewis, Steve Young, Dan Coomes and Nathan Coomes.
The one-day event attracted a field of 144 players and the Net Scramble Flight was won by Mitch Collins, Grover Crawford, David Holland and Bob Depasquale with a 55, after a match of cards with the foursome of Dana Davidson, Ryan Davidson, Billy Bateman and Earl Rigdon.
Low Gross individual was Dale Anderson with a 71, while Mark Ruff placed second with a 73
Closets-to-the-line winners were Nathan Coomes and Mike Moore.
Proceeds from the tournament went to Grace Bible Church.
