Carpet One Floor & Home Offering Pink Ribbon Welcome Mats

SEBRING - Carpet One Floor & Home is offering exclusive pink ribbon welcome mats as part of its annual effort to find a cure for breast cancer.

Twenty-five percent of the sales of these mats will be donated to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF) in the U.S. and the Canadian Cancer Society (CCS) in Canada to help support research and awareness programs.

Carpet One Floor & Home stores across North America have been supporting breast cancer research and awareness since 2004 and to date their pink ribbon welcome mats have raised more $700,000. This money has been donated to worthy organizations that are searching for a cure.

"The Carpet One Floor & Home Welcomes Your Support campaign has given us the opportunity to donate to this very important cause as well as help educate our customers about the disease and the fight against it," said Michael Carr of Carpet One Floor & Home. "We are very proud to contribute as much as we can to the search for a cure by supporting the BCRF each fall and spring."

The fall 2008 welcome mat collection features a variety of original fall and winter themed designs as well as two signature pink "Hope" mats. The mats are available from October through December at Carpet One Floor & Home for approximately $24.99. All of Carpet One Floor & Home's welcome mats are stain-and-water resistant and machine-washable.
