JENSEN BEACH - Jensen Beach 55, Sebring 42

Senior tailback Gerald Footman rushed 23 times for 211 yards and five touchdowns on Friday night to lead Jensen Beach to a 55-42 shootout victory over Sebring.

Jensen Beach's Cody Hager added 117 yards and a touchdown as the Falcons rushed for a team total of 431 yards.

The Falcon defense also forced a fumble and returned an interception for a touchdown.

Sebring sophomore quarterback Matt Grubb rallied the Blue Streaks from a 21-0 first-quarter deficit by completing 18 of 41 passes for 224 yards, three touchdowns and one interception.

Sophomore wide receiver Devin Clarke had 12 receptions for 171 yards and two touchdowns and also returned a kickoff 68 yards for a score to keep Sebring in the game.

Grubb connected with Clarke for a seven-yard TD pass to pull Sebring within seven points with 10:20 left in the game, but Footman answered with a 62-point run on the ensuing possession to seal the win.
