LAKE PLACID A 17-year-old female was arrested Monday and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and battery.
The suspect allegedly pushed a female victim before leaving the scene, returned with a knife and ran toward the victim's daughter. At that point, the juvenile reportedly raised the knife above her head and said, "Now, (expletive), what do you want to do?" according to the arrest report.
The victim said she got into a verbal altercation with the suspect, which led to the pushing.
A friend of the juvenile's was reportedly present, and pulled the suspect away from the victim's daughter once the knife came into the equation.
The friend said the suspect returned to the scene not with a knife, but with a stick.
Police reported that neither a knife nor a stick was found at the scene.
Highlands County Sheriff's Office Deputy Anthony Ford made the arrest.
